Yellow and Blue

Neglected yellow warmth,

light holds a silent whisper,

dying it turns to a blue cold,

howling bite.

Wounded time, bleeds moments,

until opportunity dies.

Words scratched in dirt,

lost in a breeze.

The same story, regurgitates,

upon life’s stage.

Black curtains fall, upon

all of living things.

Stage lights spill colored light,

on blind performers,

the eternal audience,

waits to hand out flowers,

some are yellow

and some are blue.
