Darkness vs. The Light

Flashlights do not have an inverse that spews shadow.

Darkness is only as powerful as imagination allows.

Darkness, has no energy.  Light must sacrifice energy to exist.

Darkness devours the eyes.  Light fuels a weary mind.

Light burns with passion.

Darkness hopes for inaction.

Darkness lies, behind its heavy cold shroud.  Light is warm, and silent.

Lightly Said, or Darkness Spread

Cool mist, morning.

Mountain river licks woes,

Fishing is peace.

Imbued with hatred and malice,

evil thoughts swirl within,

their bony bowl.

A hungry gray tornado,

whines and surges behind hungry eyes.

   words become wind,

that can kill.

Such a meaningless,

blight.

Love, for humanity,

is a warm yellow light,

that glows behind,

caring eyes.

A lighthouse beacon,

cuts through,

the cold dark ocean spray.

Such a valuable

light!

Encouragement crafted

for the simple and only sake

of someone else…

is like the first warmth,

of that yellow spring sun,

that chases away

the cold dark blue,

winter of discouragement.

Such a welcomed

delight.

Ears in Heaven

The great controversy,

of how to deal with woe,

is challenged

by the whispered wake

of my dancing pen…

Solids Management Program

for the soul.

Emotions, can not be extracted,

diluted, purged, or burned.

Orange fire cannot lick away,

a charred brain.

How then, does one,

unburden, a soul buried

beneath, hot sticky tar?

Talk to God,

as if you were,

talking on your cell phone,

going for a ride in the car with a friend,

on a long walk, sharing your woes,

to a sacred friend,

under the moonlight.

Ask to be forgiven,

ask for the strength to forgive.

Ask to feel forgiveness,

under the deep marrow of soul,

where hurt lodges deep.

Ask for answers,

Ask for humility to accept them.

God is listening…

Are you willing,

to talk?
